Nassau has released a special edition signed soccer ball to commemorate the
Korean national team’s participation in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and
to show support for their success. The commemorative ball features
the signatures of head coach Shin Tae-yong as well as star players such as Ki
Sung-yueng, Son Heung-min, Lee Chung-yong, Lee Jae-sung, Yeom Ki-hoon, and Koo
Ja-cheol. Nassau, the official ball supplier to the Korea Football Association
(KFA), is exclusively distributing this World Cup edition signed ball. Over the past 47 years, Nassau
has built a strong reputation as a Korean sports brand, continuously enhancing
its technological capabilities in sports equipment. Leveraging this expertise,
Nassau introduced the world’s first four-panel soccer ball, the “Tuji FA,” last
year. The Tuji FA is currently used as the official match ball in the FA Cup,
one of Korea’s most prestigious soccer tournaments, featuring both amateur and
professional teams. In addition, Nassau provides
official match balls to various domestic leagues, including the amateur K3
League, the university-level U-League, and weekend leagues for elementary,
middle, and high school players?platforms that foster future football talent in
Korea. A Nassau representative stated,
“We launched the signed ball to commemorate the national team’s participation
in the 2018 Russia World Cup and to cheer for their success. As the official
ball provider for the Korea Football Association, this commemorative product will
be exclusively sold by Nassau.”
Nassau began its business in 1971
under the name Sebing Trading Co. It later expanded by obtaining official
tennis ball certifications from both the United States Tennis Association and
the Korea Tennis Association. It also acquired international certification for
its soccer and volleyballs. Today, Nassau manufactures a wide range of sports
goods, including basketballs, jokgu balls, tennis rackets, badminton rackets,
and training equipment. |
