Nassau announced on April 2 that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) to promote the development of sports.

The signing ceremony was attended by Nassau CEO Eun Hyung Ju, along with four members of the Kenyan delegation visiting Korea for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. The delegation included IOC member Paul Tergat and NOCK Secretary General Francis Paul.

During the event, both parties signed the MOU with the shared goal of fostering mutual cooperation for the advancement of sports in both countries, and continued the exchange with a cordial discussion. Kenya participated in the recent PyeongChang Olympics with one alpine skier representing the nation.

A Nassau representative stated, “Following our participation in ISPO Munich 2018, we had the opportunity to meet with various international sports figures during the PyeongChang Olympics. Through the MOU with the National Olympic Committee of Kenya, we engaged in meaningful discussions about the future of sports development.”

He added, “We expect this MOU to serve as a stepping stone for Nassau’s expansion into the African sports equipment market.”
