Korean sports brand Nassau announced on April 4 the release of its new tennis ball model, the Czar Tour. The Czar Tour is Nassau’s latest tennis ball, offering upgraded performance compared to previous models.

Manufactured using a hydraulic press process, the Czar Tour features premium felt from U.S.-based TTI, delivering extended durability, excellent flexibility, optimal hitting feel, and superior ball control. Designed for powerful and fast play, the ball is suitable for both professional matches and club-level games.

The Czar Tour has been officially approved by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the Korea Tennis Association (KTA). It is also currently used as the official ball of the Korea Singles Tennis Association.

A Nassau representative stated, “The new Czar Tour tennis ball, which incorporates Nassau’s advanced tennis ball technology, reflects customer feedback and was developed to maximize user satisfaction.”

They added, “We will continue striving to meet the diverse needs of tennis players and enthusiasts.”

Nassau has focused on tennis ball manufacturing since its early days, earning global recognition as a leading producer. At the 1988 Seoul Olympics, Nassau tennis balls were used as the official match balls, and from 1988 to 1990, Nassau balls were designated as the official balls for the Australian Open, one of the four Grand Slam tournaments.
