On September 30, Good Neighbors Seoul Southern Branch (Director Jeong Jong-hoon) announced that it had appointed Ju Eun Hyung, Chairman of Nassau Co., Ltd., as a new member of its Regional Sponsorship Committee.

The appointment ceremony was attended by Chairman Ju Eun Hyung, Yu Hye-seon, Director of Good Neighbors Seoul Headquarters, and Director Jeong Jong-hoon. Together, they discussed plans for supporting domestic and international children’s dreams through various projects.

The Good Neighbors Regional Sponsorship Committee is a nationwide volunteer network composed of sponsors who contribute through financial support, public outreach, consultation, and the promotion of a culture of sharing. The Seoul Southern Regional Committee consists of local leaders dedicated to promoting Good Neighbors programs and supporting children’s education and welfare.

As a newly appointed committee member, Ju Eun Hyung will take a leading role in advocating for the rights of underprivileged children both in Korea and abroad, and in supporting their dreams. He will also participate as a guest speaker in Good Neighbors’ “Vision Concert”, an inspirational lecture series for upper-grade elementary students, where he will share insights as a socially responsible entrepreneur.

During the ceremony, Nassau donated 1,200 “Nassau Dream Balls”, special edition soccer balls created to support the dreams of children around the world. These balls will be delivered to participants of the 13th Good Neighbors Hope Letter-Writing Contest, including underprivileged children in Korea and children like Maxwell from Zambia, who dreams of becoming a football player.

Chairman Ju Eun Hyung commented:

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Nassau is a Korean sports equipment company known for its soccer and tennis balls, which are exported to over 70 countries.

The company has long been involved in social responsibility initiatives such as sending soccer balls to children in Africa and donating equipment to youth football clubs in Korea.

Recently, Nassau also succeeded in developing the world’s first eco-friendly sports airdome, launching a joint venture company NassauX as part of its business diversification strategy.
