May 12, 2022 On May 11, the Jeju City Sports Council (Chairman Kim Jong-ho) signed a sponsorship agreement with Nassau Co., Ltd. (Chairman Ju Eun Hyung), one of Korea’s leading sports brands, at the Sara-bong Multi-Purpose Gymnasium. The two parties agreed to cooperate closely to expand the foundation of sports in the region. The partnership aims to foster the growth of sports activities in Jeju while contributing to the revitalization of the local economy. One of the highlights of the agreement is the joint development of a sports airdome, allowing Jeju residents to enjoy sports activities year-round, regardless of external conditions such as fine dust, heavy snow, or strong winds. The initiative is expected to position Jeju as a new model for sports tourism, attracting not only elite athletes from Korea and abroad but also amateur football enthusiasts.
