Title Suwon Nassau FC Wins 6th Grade Division at Taebaeksan National Youth Football Tournament

Suwon Nassau FC won the 6th grade division of the 2023 2nd Taebaeksan National Youth Football Tournament Taebaek Division, hosted by Kangwon Ilbo. On the 29th, at Taebaek High-Altitude Stadium, Suwon Nassau FC secured the championship in the Stove League 6th grade match by finishing ahead of Incheon BPJ FC in total points.


In the 5th grade final held at High-Altitude Stadium Field 3, Incheon BPJ FC showcased structured offense and solid defense to defeat Pohang JH Football Academy. Leading the first half 2?0, BPJ FC continued their dominance in the second half, scoring three more goals. Despite one goal from JH Football Academy, the match ended in a 5?1 victory for BPJ FC.


In the 4th grade division, Suwon GS Gyeongsoo Club defeated Incheon God of Football 4?1 to take the title. The 3rd grade division also saw Suwon GS Gyeongsoo Club triumph, beating Hwaseong The First 6?1. In the 2nd grade division, Osan Yeom Ki-hoon Football Club and Gimpo GFA drew 2?2 in regular time. Osan eventually claimed victory through a 3?1 win in the penalty shootout.


The tournament, held from May 27 to 29 across High-Altitude Fields 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Taebaek, featured over 50 top youth football clubs from across the country competing in the 2nd to 6th grade divisions.
