55 Youth Football Clubs Participate Nationwide

Nassau Makes Significant Contributions to Youth Football Development

[Maeil Ilbo = Reporter Han Chul-hee] The "2nd Nassau Cup National Youth Football Tournament," held on June 16 at Hyupsung University, concluded successfully amidst a large turnout of participants and spectators.

Co-hosted by Nassau and Youthmo, the tournament featured a total of 55 teams across divisions from kindergarten to middle school. Over 2,000 players, family members, and officials took part, adding to the excitement and competitive atmosphere.

The champions of each division were as follows: Soccer Story (Kindergarten), Cheonan Yonsei FC (Grades 1?2), Seosan United (Grade 3), Gangneung GNJ (Grade 4), Seosan United (Grade 5), YFC (Grade 6), and Evergreen FC (Middle School).

Runners-up included: Wonju FC (Kindergarten), Gwanggyo Team Saepoom (Grade 1), YFC (Grade 2), Cheonan Yonsei FC (Grade 3), The Football Navy (Grade 4), YFC (Grade 5), Cheonan Lions (Grade 6), and DTIFC (Middle School).

Third-place teams were: Wisdom FC (Kindergarten), The Football Academy (Grade 1), Hansup Junior (Grade 2), JJCLAN (Grade 3), Suwon Apple FC (Grade 4), Cheongmae Sports (Grade 5), Seosan United (Grade 6), and Nassau FC (Middle School).

Tournament organizer and Youthmo CEO Kim Jun-su stated, “Though we were concerned about the players' health due to the hot weather, I am pleased that the tournament concluded safely and successfully without any incidents. This event allowed young players to fall even more in love with football and demonstrated the continued growth and vitality of youth football clubs. I also want to express my gratitude to Nassau for their meaningful contribution to the development of youth football.”
